12 Powers Candles Only_edited.jpg

Join us for this beautiful Unity tradition celebrating the Christmas season with candlelight and music. Using the 12 Spiritual Powers/Abilities present in each of us, represented by a specific color and disciple, this incredible candlelight service reminds us of our innate Divinity and the amazing gifts we bring to the world. The holy (and wholly beautiful!) service is a blend of music, readings and the candlelighting. The evening ends with more holiday music and festive fellowship around the hospitality table, laden with Christmas goodies! Don’t miss this transformative experience that prepares you for a spiritual and peaceful Christmas.

There is no childcare for this service, but we will have a children’s corner with coloring books for the little ones, attended by parents.

Burning Bowl/White Stone Service
Sunday Morning, January 7 at 10:30
At UCR and Livestreamed

The New Year in Unity signifies a letting go of old ideas and ways of doing things that no longer serve us, and a rebirth of a bright, new consciousness – the powerful Christ Consciousness that dwells in all of us and brings us our good.  Bring your New Year’s Resolutions to glorious life and be ready to step out on our journey into 2024, ready and willing to embrace all the good that Spirit has to offer – prosperity, health, loving relationships, peace, and meaning. This sacred and moving service gives us a chance to release the old and begin anew, fresh in faith and hope and love.

On January 7, we write down and put to flame all those things we are letting go, and then, listing our hopes and dreams and goals, we usher in a meaningful and promising 2024. Don’t miss it!

Sunday Morning Guided Meditation
10:00 a.m. until 10:15, UCR Prayer Chapel

Craving the peace and refreshment of meditation? Join us on Sunday mornings before the service for a beautiful guided meditation in our Prayer Chapel. Then join the 10:30 church service with a renewed spirit and an open heart!

Prayer Chapel

A big "Thank You!" to everyone who supported our first Fall-oween Chili Cook-off.  We had a scary good time and raised $1,000 for the church.

Al and rock.jpg

Al shares his Affirmation Rock.

UCR rocks ... LITERALLY!

Our UCR congregation brought hands and feet to the Unity message of Peace, Love, and Joy by painting affirmation river rocks as part of our World Day of Prayer celebration. We enjoyed distributing them throughout the community in mid-September. Imagine all the people who found one of these rocks with the right and perfect message at the right and perfect time!

Dawg Days of Summer Fundraiser Raffle a Red-hot Success!

What's more fun than a water balloon fight on a hot summer's day? Winning $500 AND blessing the church with a successful fundraiser! We sold 136 tickets and raised $2720 for the church. Many thanks to the oh-so-cool raffle team: Alan and Anne Smith, Louise Smythe, and Melanie Raskin. Special thanks to the anonymous donor who contributed the prize money for this event.

Our Hearts in Unity Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser, led by Betty Sari, was a huge success! We raised more than $2,100 for the church and a good time was had by all! Thanks to everyone who donated lasagnas, desserts, raffle prizes, and musical talent, and volunteered at the event.

Spring Yard Sale Blessed UCR!

2022 Yardsale 2_edited.jpg

It takes a lot of hands (and hearts!) to make a huge, indoor, three-day yard sale a success. And as usual, we did it! Many thanks to all our fantastic volunteers (guided by event leader Sharon Shehdan) over the week-long journey to pull off the sale, whose tireless energy led us to raise $3,142 for our church (and counting, as we are now selling bigger ticket items in other ways) AND to bless the wider community with wonderful bargains. See you next year!
